Project IOWA provides transformational programs for individuals looking to grow personally and professionally. A holistic training approach connects individuals to their purpose and meaningful, stable employment. Project IOWA’s current standard is to place individuals in careers that pay a livable wage, with an average post-training wage of $17.56.
Funds from our First Sunday collection will go toward the Cultivating Careers Program, which provides tools to overcome barriers such as generational poverty, financial constraints, lack of resources, criminal backgrounds, mental health, trauma, and a lack of skills and confidence. It offers an opportunity to gain adequate training for employment, develop increased self-awareness, a clear understanding of workplace culture, and increased financial stability.
