“No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town!” is the mission of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.  Volunteers of the group gather to build beds and then deliver them, complete with new mattresses, pillows, and bedding, to kids in the greater Des Moines area who don’t have beds of their own.  The IA-Des Moines Chapter of SHP was launched less than one year ago and already has delivered beds to nearly 150 kids who had been sleeping on a couch, chair, or even the floor.  There are hundreds more kids out there who need beds of their own!  For more information, click here.
